What is an Operating System?

An Operating System simply means OS. Today everyone have their own Mobile phone, Laptop, PCs. In these gadgets, you can hear a name like Android, IOS, Windows, One-UI, etc. The above-mentioned names are some Operating Systems.

What they really do?

If Humans want to interact with Computers or Mobile Phones, we need a bond with it. Computers and Mobile phones only understand the binary language. The Operating System helps to convert the human known languages to binary codes.

What is the need for OS?

Operating Systems have different User Interfaces. User Interface gives the look and feel to the OS. Users should not understand the operations behind an Operating System. To reduce the complications, developers are giving a different UI for every Operating Systems.

Working of OS:

It connects the Hardware and the Software. All the system hardware are connected with every software. Example, If you want to capture a picture in your phone or laptop you want to open the camera application.
